About Anthony Lavopa

Anthony is an active-duty U.S. Naval Officer and leadership coach. With 15+ years of military service, including command of a U.S. Navy Warship. Anthony now wants to help others learn from his failures and stumbles to better themselves as professionals and people. He is a resourceful leader with active involvement in shaping the long-range vision and aligning the people and department to create long-term value. Anthony is also recognized as a strategic problem solver and critical thinker, excelling at thriving in rapidly evolving and challenging environments. As a proactive risk manager, with an aptitude to analyze technical information, he transforms results into understandable terms and recommends data-driven solutions to identify and mitigate emerging risks. Anthony was fortunate to command USS Hurricane (PC 3) from June 2020-July 2021 and led the ship through Covid, the combat certification process, as well as multiple patrols in the Middle East. He’s also done a total of 5 deployments in his career and has unique stories from each. The experience afforded to him by the Navy has been incredible and he loves sharing them with non-military audiences.
