About Ann Marie Ybaretta
Ann Marie, a pioneer in weight training for women and seniors. She teaches women and seniors how to weight train using her father's invention, the Diodatics. Her journey began 45 years ago when her father opened a weight training gym exclusively for women in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada. He spent years teaching Ann Marie how to effectively train women in strength exercises. Before discovering weight training, she tried various aerobic classes but found them exhausting with minimal results. When she began my father's weight training programs, she was amazed at how quickly the members saw visible results. They not only sculpted and toned their bodies but also lost body fat. In 1989, Ann relocated to California and managed health clubs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. One consistent observation was that at least 70% of women did not know how to weight train and were unsure where to start, what exercises to do, or what weights to use. Years later, her father invented and patented a new and improved dumbbell/kettlebell and sent me a truckload of his weights. She then designed a cardio-weight training class for all ages and fitness levels at gyms and community centers. These classes are currently being taught in California, Las Vegas, and online, and people are achieving amazing results! Ann also created a weight training system using Diodatics for people with mobility issues, as well as those with dementia. These classes have become very popular at major assisted living and dementia centers in the San Francisco Bay Area, where residents are achieving remarkable results while having fun.
