About Amy Lacey
Growing up in Northern California, I developed a passion for business at an early age and truth be told, she’s always been an entrepreneur at heart. In 2012 she was diagnosed with Lupus and was really sick. Amy was prediabetic and had gestational diabetes and inflammation was attacking my body for the longest time. She had to drastically change my lifestyle. She wanted to find a way to still eat fun foods with my kids and be involved in family Friday pizza night — so she invented a cauliflower pizza crust. This sparked my revolutionary health journey. Amy got off steroids and Plaquenil, she lost 48 lbs., and wanted to pay that health forward, so she became certified as a life and health coach with Martha Beck.
In 2015, she decided to take her cauliflower pizza crust to the farmers market with her kids. One minute they were selling at the stalls, the next, in January 2017, they went viral, and Cali’Flour Foods was born.
She did not stop there, she also wrote a national bestselling book,
Cali’Flour Kitchen, published in 2019. Then, in late 2019, Amy sold the majority of Cali’Flour and became one of the top 1% of women business owners to exit a company with an 8-figure deal.
In 2023, I founded Beyond Medicine (BeMe) and Soursop Nutrition, bringing back the award-winning team from Cali’Flour and raising capital from 10 powerhouse female investors – to highlight one of the world’s greatest super fruits.
