In this episode Vicki’s guest, Ash Wylder shares advice to help with our communication to and with highly sensitive people. She noted that we need to accept sometimes that when we have a giant mess in the kitchen, and things just aren’t working out — just call for takeout! In working with highly sensitive people she helps them tear down walls and find their voice first, working past issues, using creative writing and letters with family as tools.

Ash Wylder is the founder of The Storybreath School™. She has found people who are overwhelmed, exhausted, and pulled in too many directions still need to learn the performance habits that make a sustainable difference. This can get in the way of them getting more clients, hiring, and managing team members, feeling like they have work/life balance, and/or connecting deeply in their personal relationships.
These individuals weren't necessarily born with an innate ability to communicate well. In fact, many of them struggled at different times with sweaty palms, shaky voices, and a fear of being misunderstood. They discovered that the quality of their habits determined their ability to communicate clearly.
Using a trauma-informed program and techniques backed by neuroscience, Ash helps her clients say what they mean when it matters.
